Fast Response & Guaranteed Repairs

Diagnostic Experts

Diagnose and Repair

When comfort fails, we troubleshoot first and sell second. Common calls: no cooling from compressor failures, refrigerant leaks or frozen evaporator coils; uneven temperatures from airflow problems or duct obstructions; short cycling; and no-heat calls on boilers and furnaces. Our goal is a repair that restores efficiency and extends equipment life, with a clear written explanation of what failed and why.

No Cooling

Rapid troubleshooting for compressor failure, coolant leaks, or frozen evaporation coils.

Uneven Temp

Solving airflow imbalances, ductwork obstructions, and thermostat sensor calibration issues.

Strange Noises

Fixing mechanical rattling, squealing belts, and electrical humming before they lead to total failure.

Emergency

24/7 priority support for sudden cooling or heating system outages in extreme weather.

NEW SYSTEMS

New System Installations and Replacements

Whether you are building a new home or upgrading an aging system, we size equipment to the house, not to the old unit's nameplate. The Tri-State climate asks a lot of a system: humid summers, long heating seasons and older housing stock with radiators, oil tanks and little or no ductwork. We handle central systems, ducted and ductless heat pumps, VRF systems, rooftop units and mini-splits, and we manage the job from removal of the old equipment to start-up and walkthrough of the new one.

HEATING

Heating, Boiler and Heat Pump Service

Many Westchester homes still heat with oil or gas boilers. We repair and replace boilers, and when a homeowner wants to move to electric heat, we design cold-climate heat pump systems that can carry the whole house through winter. As a NYS Clean Heat participating contractor we can apply eligible utility incentives directly on your invoice. Read more: Heat Pump Installation Westchester NY and Boiler Repair Westchester NY

Westchester HVAC FAQs

Why are some of my radiators cold?

In steam systems the usual causes are stuck radiator or main vents, a low water level or a pitched pipe holding water. In hot water systems it is often air in the lines, a failed circulator or a stuck zone valve. We find the cause and fix it so every room heats evenly.

Can I add air conditioning to a house with radiators and no ductwork?

Yes. Ductless mini-splits are a good fit for older Westchester homes because they need only a small opening in the wall for each indoor unit. As a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor we design the system room by room for both cooling and heating.

Do heat pumps work in Westchester winters?

Cold-climate heat pumps are built to heat in freezing weather. We size them with a room-by-room load calculation and can keep your boiler or furnace as backup if you prefer.

Are there rebates for heat pumps in New York in 2026?

The NYS Clean Heat program offers heat pump incentives for one to four family homes through utilities such as Con Edison. Amounts depend on the project type. The federal heat pump tax credit ended for equipment placed in service after December 31, 2025. Ask us about what applies to your home.

What towns do you serve in Westchester County?

We are based in Sleepy Hollow and serve Tarrytown, Briarcliff Manor, Irvington, Elmsford, White Plains, Pleasantville, Dobbs Ferry, Scarsdale and nearby towns in Westchester County.

Do you work in Connecticut?

Yes. Along with Westchester County, HROD HVAC takes heating and cooling jobs in nearby Connecticut, including Fairfield County towns such as Greenwich and Stamford. Call (914) 217-8123 to check availability for your project.
