A new HVAC system is a big decision, and a smooth project comes from doing the steps in the right order. Here is exactly how HROD HVAC runs a project, whether it is a single mini-split in Riverview or a whole-house heat pump conversion in Westchester.
1. Consultation
We learn your needs, goals, concerns and expectations. Which rooms are uncomfortable? Are bills too high? Are you planning an addition or moving off oil? Consultations for new systems and replacements are free.
2. Site Assessment
We evaluate the property, existing equipment and conditions: insulation, windows, sun exposure, duct condition, electrical capacity and where equipment can go. This is where we find the constraints and opportunities that shape the design.
3. Solution and Proposal
We calculate the heating and cooling load and recommend the right solution, with exact equipment models, scope and pricing in a written proposal. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we will say so. For Westchester heat pump projects, the proposal shows any NYS Clean Heat incentive the project may qualify for.
4. Planning and Scheduling
We coordinate equipment, materials, permits, scheduling and site logistics to minimize disruption to your home or business. For eligible NYS Clean Heat projects, required utility approvals happen before installation.
5. Professional Installation
Our team completes the work with quality and attention to detail, following code, the manufacturer's installation standards and best practices.
6. Start-Up and Quality Check
We test and verify operation, performance and comfort before turning the system over to you: refrigerant charge, airflow, electrical readings, controls and drainage.
7. Project Walkthrough
We review the completed work, show you how to use the controls, answer questions and confirm everything meets your expectations. Inspections are scheduled where the permit requires one.
8. Continued Support
We remain available for service, maintenance and future projects as your long-term HVAC partner, and we register eligible equipment for its manufacturer warranty.
